Minneapolis based producer AKWIUS will be releasing his debut 12” EP, “Clever Girl” on August 7th 2020 via Upper Realm.
On this EP, AKWIUS utilizes a grimey, bass focused hybrid of rave and post rave theories to explore moods of the current dystopian utopia from a Mexican American perspective and traverse outside boundaries of contemporary rave aesthetics. Limited edition vinyl will be available exclusively though the Upper Realm bandcamp site here and the EP will be also be available digitally on spotify, beatport, juno, apple music, tidal, etc.
